Race behind the race
The Formula 1 season continues with Round 6 at the Miami Grand Prix, scheduled for May 2–4. This event marks the fourth edition of the race at the Miami International Autodrome since its debut in 2022 and is one of six Sprint weekends on the 2025 calendar.
Following the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the DHL Motorsports team faces a significant logistical challenge, transporting approximately 1,400 tonnes of freight to Miami. While critical components like race cars and essential equipment are flown directly from Jeddah, non-essential items—such as hospitality furnishings and catering supplies—are shipped via sea freight well in advance.
After the race in Miami, the Formula 1 circus returns to Europe for a demanding tripl -header, featuring the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola, followed by the Monaco Grand Prix and the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. This stretch highlights the complexity of global motorsport logistics, requiring meticulous planning and coordination to ensure everything arrives on time and in perfect condition.
